 For nearly 20 years, Sunrise Tradex Corp, has been present in the marketplace, working hard to reach the leading position it has today in the distribution of hardware products and fans and cooling systems.  Besides being known as a major importer/distributor of products dedicated to the retail market, we differentiate ourselves with our cutting edge vision by continuously introducing innovative and exclusive products to the market place.   Consumer-customer driven and ahead of the new products being launched worldwide, we make a  point in making sure that our products offer the latest trends in style, design, colour, performance, and top quality standards. Over the years, our philosophy has always been not to limit ourselves to simply answer to customer’s demands, but to be proactive, to go beyond their expectations and be a counsellor who guides them in choosing the right mix of products, in establishing a profitable pricing strategy and in implementing efficient marketing and promotional programs. Our expertise, acquired mainly in the retail market and our unique know-how of private label development and management, make Sunrise Tradex Corp a specialist, highly considered and appreciated by buying groups, corporate chains and retailers, because they enjoy the quality of national in-store services, they benefit form customized and distinctive graphic designs and they realize outstanding sales and profit with effective merchandising programs.  The company Sunrise Tradex Corp.  was founded in 1990, by the regrouping of Shirley Chang, president of Sunrise R & D Corp of Taichung, Taiwan, and Paul Gemme, Importations Director for Rona, with a goal to search for products coming from Asia and their commercialization on the Quebec market, with the objective of developing a private brand for Rona.   

HISTORY 

In the beginning, the modest operation consisted mainly of the importation of miscellaneous products chosen by Rona and destined for the retail hardware market. Always listening to their clients, the rapid evolution of the market and the determination to expand the company helped deepen their knowledge and develop a solid expertise in hardware products, fans, cooling systems and accessories, particularly in the management of private brands.  Appointed “Category Captain” in the hardware category by Rona, a major player in the retail industry, Sunrise Tradex Corp., has today become a leader in the distribution of these products throughout Canada. Since its creation, Sunrise Tradex Corp. has grown considerably.  In 2003, Sunrise inaugurated a new distribution centre situated in St-Mathieu-de-Beloeil with the help of a dynamic team made up of passionate and experienced people, dedicated to customer satisfaction, that supplied our customers and who, in return, have become faithful to Sunrise over the years. In 2007, Sunrise expanded beyond the capacity of it’s location in St-Mathieu-de-Beloeil and brought a new 107,000 sq. ft. warehouse located in Coaticook, Quebec, dedicated to the distribution of it’s range of products in air conditioning, heating and ventilation, and the newly introduces Gree brand. Today, Sunrise remains well positioned in the distribution of its products and has integrated a new group “Celsius Spas Canada” specializing in products connected to relaxation and the benefits of massage, for outside installation.
